This is my second income report for 2023. I am including February and March 2023 in it.
February 2023 saw total dividends of $65.57 from 12 different companies.
4 of which had a dividend payment increase from their last payment cycle.
This is also a $23.29 decrease in dividends compared to last year February.
AT&T spin off of Warner media and the following merger with Discovery to become Warner bros discovery also led to the dividends being reduced from $0.52 to $0.2775 per share.
February dividend increases
- Abbvie increased their dividend by 7 cents from $1.41 to $1.48. This is a 5% increase.
- CVS increased dividends by 10% with each share yielding $0.605, previously it was $0.55. This is the second year in a row with a dividend increase. While CVS did not cut its dividends, it did pause the dividend hikes from 2017 to 2021 after the Aetna acquisition.
- Nokia dividend increased from $0.019 to $0.022. Nokia’s dividend amounts historically are not consistent so this shouldn’t be totally considered as a dividend increase.
